I have been a resident of New Canaan for twenty-five wonderful years. For most of that time, I have been deeply involved in our town. I believe that New Canaan offers a quality of life that is no longer available in other parts of the country. We enjoy a small-town sense of community, tradition, and collegiality. Our surroundings are beautiful. Our schools are first-rate. And we need to protect all of these things.

What is most important to me is to work to keep New Canaan the place we know and love – to attempt to keep as much of that small-town feel for as long as we possibly can. In other words, to keep New Canaan — New Canaan.

If elected, I promise to be open-minded and open-hearted; to work to build consensus on issues of contention; to work for the best interest of the Town as a whole rather than any special interest groups, and to focus on maintaining and growing the civility that is so important.

My background in finance. My experience in Town government, my involvement in so many of the non-profits of New Canaan, and my deep love of our Town are what I bring to the table.

I hope you will give me the opportunity to serve.
